Spreads
It is the difference between the Ask price and the Bid price of a financial instrument. This spread is usually useful to measure the liquidity of a market, the most traded instruments usually have lower spreads than those with less liquidity.
Leverage
It is an operating tool provided by a broker that allows clients to place positions greater than the base capital they own. In other words, leverage allows you to trade with more capital than you actually own.
Lot
A lot represents the number of units of a financial instrument purchased in a market. For example, in the foreign exchange market, a standard lot represents 100,000 units of currency.
